The International Classical Guitar 2 in 1 Competition 3.0

Register now for 2 international classical guitar competitions with just one entry fee and a video! The selected contestants will advance to the live competitions to be held in Petrer (Spain) and in Tampere (Finland). The public’s favorite contestant will be able to participate in the free live phases.

NOTE: for Petrer (Spain), there is also the possibility of registering directly for the contest that will be held in July in Petrer as long as there are places left “registration price according to registration for the 27th edition of the Festival.” For Tampere (Finland), all contestants who will attend live are selected from Round 1.

What competitions will you participate in?

• • 23rd José Tomás Villa de Petrer International Guitar Competition (Professional Category)
    – Live rounds in Petrer (Spain) from July 15 to 18, 2024
  • 5th Finnish International Classical Guitar Competition
    – Live rounds in Tampere (Finland) from June 5 to 8, 2024

Application process

1. Apply between December 1st 2023 – March 4th 2024 
2. Make the payment for Round 1 by the due date
3. Upload your video to your YouTube channel and send the program and sheet music for Round 1 by March 15th 2024
4. Round 1 YouTube playlist will be opened April 1st 2024
5. Promote your video and reach for the nomination of The Favourite Artist of the Audience
6. Results of Round 1 will be announced April 28th 2024
7. Qualified competitors for the next rounds will receive further instructions from the local competitions

Fees

Round 1 (video for the competition): €80 for 2 competitions
Round 1 qualified contestants: €110 per competition for live local rounds.
